This way isn’t as good but can still get very intense when you think your about to get a legendary. The player you invited should stop shooting whenever a booster drops because the Altar may start spawning enemies everywhere. By that time there should’ve been many drops from the Alter already that consumed the boosters from your shield.
The person without the shield just needs to start shooting the player with the shield until it is depleted.

Defeat the Handsome Sorcerer if you want for a chance to get a legendary from the Warrior’s lootpool. Once your there invite a friend to your game then clear the map. Once you have all of this,head to the Altar located at Dragon Keep on the fast travel. They both have a small chance of dropping but I chose to farm Hyperious in True Vault Hunter mode so it’s easier to defeat him with Over Powered Level 8 items. If you can’t find them or have bad luck then try Hyperious The Invincible from Captain Scarlett’s dlc. You will need the Whisky Tango Foxtrot shield which can be dropped by Tubbies. The second way is from the Altar in Tiny Tina’s Assault On Dragon Keep. This method is farmable so you don’t need to drop your friend to take the item for you to dashboard. This is a super quick method and the only requirements are weapons you are comfortable with defeating enemies with. This is not a guarantee legendary method but I’ve gotten one 7 out of 10 tries. After you have defeated the boss head to the train where Marcus sends you two chests filled with loot. The first way to get easy legendaries is just by farming the snowman boss in How Marcus Saved Mercenary Day dlc. Captain Scarlertt’s dlc is optional but doesn’t really make it easier. People are just transferring gamesaves from Gibb’s Game editor to their profiles which is just taking the fun out of the game. With the legendary loot midgets being patched with reduced legendary drop rates. Or the world drops that are 1/300000 chances to get one. Sometimes farming legendaries take way too much time in this game when there’s a 1/30 chances from each boss and can be stolen by a head in the loot pool.
